Local guide-driver · Pickup at your hotel
A guide-driver collects up to eight guests from their hotels for the Sedlec cathedral, the ossuary, St Barbara's and a long Czech lunch in a medieval restaurant. Pick it if lunch matters to you and you want a small group with everything paid.

This is the most inclusive day on the site. The listing includes hotel pickup and drop-off, a multilingual guide-driver, a car or minivan, water on board, entry to the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady and St John the Baptist, the Bone Church and St Barbara's, a Czech lunch with one beer, wine or soft drink, and a surprise gift at the end. Desserts, extra drinks and tips are the only extras. The tour cancels free up to 24 hours before. Official ossuary tickets refund only up to 3 days before, and only as a voucher.
The day starts with a 1-hour drive through Bohemian villages. First comes the Sedlec cathedral, the Baroque Gothic work of the architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel. Then the 14th-century Church of All Saints and its lower chapel, the ossuary. The lower chapel holds the bones of between 40,000 and 70,000 people, arranged by the woodcarver František Rint in 1870 into four pyramids, garlands, the Schwarzenberg coat of arms and a chandelier said to use every bone in the human body. Lunch is in a medieval restaurant in the centre, followed by a walk past the former Jesuit College to St Barbara's, with views over the valley.
The listing has 5.0 stars from 13 reviews, a small count with nothing but top marks. Guests name Hana, again and again, as their guide. Groups run up to 8, the tour runs rain or shine, and there is time for souvenir shopping or an optional wine tasting before the drive back.
